Toronto — Under maned T-Wolves no match for surging Raps
The Raptors took their first quarter lead and built on it to finish the game with a 122-107 for win over the visiting Timberwolves. This was the Raps seventh straight home victory and third game in a row.
Toronto continued their strong play of late with defence and unselfishness on the offensive end. For the second straight game 6 players including all 5 starters scored in double digits. Lead by Fred VanVleet’s and Pascal Siakam’s 28 and 27 respectively.
Minnesota didn’t themselves any favours. Already down Karl-Anthony Towns and without Anthony Edwards on this night, they shot under 46% from the field and under 22% from deep.
Fluent Finale: Toronto’s only home loss against the T-wolves was a 116-112 defeat on Valentines Day 2021, when the Raptor’s home was Tampa, Florida, due to the border restrictions related to the COVID-19.
Now you’re more fluent!
